Lake Maroon
As the northerlys have really set in , and getting into a few macks off shore dosn't look likely for some days, I thought I'd try Lake Maroon.
Anyone out there got any clues ........bait ? plastics...lurers ....any info would help.....don't think I will drag the boat there just yet .... probably just off the bank and generally check the place out.
cheers to all Jimmy

Re: Lake Maroon
Take some bait, catch a feed of tasty spangleds. They've been going off like a frog in a sock the last few weeks. So many it even made the local paper. Worms or shrimp.
Caught some really nice keepers at moogerah this morning (spawning) so expect the same at Maroon.
I live close to both dams. Lots of drizzly rain this week which is great news.
No farmers = No future.......

Re: Lake Maroon
Thanks Chep,
that's good info, do you dig local for worms ? Any spot ? no boat this trip . I was out that way a few weeks ago and couldn't beleive how dry it was . You blokes sure have been doing it tough .
We have had 250 ml + since Xmas day out the valley where we live........all the tanks are full so want a break !
Will get new rubber on the cruiser tomorrow so we will be able to go up around the boarder and have a look. Should be some water going over some falls by now !
Cheers Jimmy
