Redcliffe Bream Session

Took my brother and my mate Raymond out to Redcliffe chasing bream on surface lures and jackall chubbys, The bream put on a surface action show today, big splashes and heaps of follows. When my brother finelly hooked one, it was big and unstopable straight into the reef and busted up! We did manage a couple of good size bream on the chubbys, 35 and 37 to the fork were the biggest, Raymond got his first bream on a hardbody it went 35 to the fork, I aslo got a 60cm flathead on a chubby and a puffer fish as a by catch, cheers stessco. Merry christmas

Pity Raymond couldn't pull any like that during the ABT kayak round at Reddy.

There are some good fish in those rocks in close at Redcliffe, to get a good indication of what's on offer in this area keep an eye out for the upcoming AFC series getting shown on channel 10 at 1pm on Sundays, they fish a round at Redcliffe over the shallow rocks. Should be good veiwing.

Very solid Reddy bream, and a nice lizard to make a mixed bag.

Good quality Bream guys. Mate those Jackall Chubbies work a treat.

I use the Suji Shrimp and Brown Suji Shrimp all the time and it catches Bream, Trevally, grassies and the odd Flattie.

Well done guys and a good feed too.

Excellent fish mate, they are crackers.
Why are they never around when a comp is on...?
Cheers and thanks.

Well done fellas.
Stessco is there a reason why you measure to fork and not to end of tail?
Cheers

Coupla crackers. I'm guessing that would make them 40+cm overall length. Castlemaine, I think the fork length thing comes from competitions. The tail canbe manipulated so as to read longer by a small amount but i prefer a tail length myself as that is how you measure them by law. Ben
