    Caught in a dillie off Wavebreak Is
    Just under 15cm across, released un harmed

    looks to me like the blue swimmers and the muddys have been having a little alone time. lol

    Yeah, I had a feed of Sandies and didnt know what breed it was

    leighton its a hairy-backed crab or known as a rock crab,i call them rock crabs myself,find them ordinary to eat,

    Rock Crab. No limits. I have found them to be not a sweet as a Sandy. The used to be quite common on the rubble areas near inshore reefs
    The lines in the shell are a good ID
