Cool recovery trip!
Spent several hours before and after sunset in the drizzle walking the bank with a mate yesterday. He got three decent bass to my donut . Thats three in a row I have gone down. Well done Tim
My contribution to the day was the loss of about 60 bucks worth of lures.
I slipped out this morning to get the lures in the yak and couldnt resist a little flick while I was at it .
8 bass were landed in about an hour and a half with four of those being on the troll.Best went 40 cm odd (measured against a mark on the paddle so that could be a little generous to be fair)
Again all fish were taken on the same lure despite a few changes. Shallow chubby in wakasagi was the culprit.
I managed to lose a couple on the troll and pulled the hooks on one which had another go and made it to the boat.
Left them biting to get home as I was already well overdue.
Brendan
PS found all the lures as well
