    Hi Peter

    No they are just very large river gar. I've often caught a few sea gar off the Shorncliffe pier during the winter, mixed in with smaller river gar, but I've never caught any sea gar at Mud.
    By the way, are you still chasing longtom? There are hundreds of them in the Bribie passage at the moment
