    wiring furuno fcv585

    For the fear of sounding stupid what is the extra black cable for, i've read the wiring instrutions and it doesn't even get a mention ive searched previous post and it got a half mention but not explained i'm doing this once and the right way first so close but yet so 12mth complete rebuild almost done Thanks Soggy1

    mine is a fcv 620 only hooked up the wires with fuses it worked a treat could not see in the installation manual what any of them were for

    I know the rest of the wires are for the nema wiring its just that one extra black wire that has got me
