Baffle Creek.
Last weekend two mates and I did a trip to Baffle Creek. We had our 12 pots and checked out pots twice daily. The amount of Jennies that we threw back was unbelievable. We probably caught about 8 to 10 bucks, but most were just undersize. The total of legal crabs caught was 3.
We used mullet and chicken frames for bait.
It was quite disapointing, but I guess it indicates that people are doing the right thing and releasing females.
If anyone is planning a trip to this area, my best advice is to ensure you have an spare prop, because on low water it is rediciously low and there are banks everywhere to be cautious of.
Cheers

yes you would have been there on the full moon and it was a really low tide.
it normally isnt that bad.baffle can be very hit and miss on the crabs.

Re: Baffle Creek.
Mate we went there about 6 weeks ago and same thing. Over about 3 days caught at least 30 crabs, either tiny bucks, 1 - 2mm undersize, or big big jennies.. And I mean BIG Jennies !
Makes you wonder what the life expectancy of a male crab is once he hits legal size in the creek
