You've done yourself a favour and booked a Guide.....He will give you all the info you will require.......There is no point in everyone telling you this that and the other, you will only become confused.......Have a great time Mate.......Whitto

Thumbs up Re: help in poping my monduran barra cherry

Can only confirm what has already been said and
With these hot Northerlies and guide you are grinning.
The only other tip I would give you is to call at the local Tackle shop , as is always good practice in any new fishery.
Foxies Barra Havock in Gin Gin. John or Jackie both know their stuff and can steer you towards the right gear. He has some good deals there at the moment on Barra lures that are only available from the Pro shops. (I just ordered some myself)

This way once the guide has given you guidance you have the lures to go it alone and take advantage of your found new knowledge.

Do us all a favour and post back a few tips none of us claim to know everything.

Well most of us don't claim to know everything

Mates came back a couple of weeks ago from Tamworth and got 7 fish up to 1.2mtr. All on Squidgy slick rigs in the drop bear colour. They lost about the same again. I said to them might be worth looking into a swinging treble as a stinger hook for extra assurance. For the four days they were there they only came on for one of those days. Tight lines
