    Archiving PM's

I got a message telling me my PM box was nearly full, and to delete or archive my PM's. I know how to delete them but how do I archive them? I have tried moving them to another folder but that still counts as a PM.

At the bottom of the page you should see

Download all Private Messages as :
    XML | CSV | Text

Just click on whichever format you wish to save them as on your computer

    Got that. Thanks Steve.

Next question is.....Do I tick the ones I want to download, or does it download the lot of them when I click on download?

I know what text means, but what does the other two things mean. (in other words what is the best one to use). I dont want to click on something and have them downloaded in a form I cannot use or read.

    Thanks

As the text suggests Download all Private Messages as :
    XML | CSV | Text
you are downloading all of your private messages. Just click on a link and you will see what happens.

Best to stick with Text then. XML and CSV are in different formats for different applications to import the file in their specific format.

    XML is Extensible Markup Language

    CSV is Comma Separated Values
