    Hi Dan,

Perfect size boat for the estuaries, and inshore islands.
I have a 4.2 Seajay, and for what i use it for it's ideal!
When you are up here, pop into Tackleworld on Shakespeare Street, and have a yarn to the fellas. If Clinton is working, chew his ear on where the fish are biting, and they'll soon point you in the right direction.

    Cheers,

    Macca

Yep, you have pretty well the standard boat for this area. Though you need some local advice and Tackelword would be the best advice.

Though Christmas time can be either wet, or very wet, and the creeks might have too much fresh in them.

    Good luck with it anyway.

Good size boat for around this area and if the weather is not nice on the coast go for a look at Kinchant Dam (not on weekends) or Teembra for some fresh water barra and sootys. Cheers Gav
