This route can be seen from Google Earth and is classed as easy . We will be traveling the beaches at low tide. The inland tracks can be very soft in places and definitely 4WD is required. Deflating of tyres is a personal choice. FYI, I will be using 18psi. Some of the tracks going over the dunes into camp spots are steep and soft under foot. Those that do not have snatchem straps or UHF, please let me know at the meeting place. Mobile phone service should not be a problem.
For those that have never traveled on the beach before, please let me know and I will give you a quick rundown on beach rules and manners. Remember, a beach is a designated road under Qld Transport rules. Obey all speed signs.
