    30 hp to 40 hp 2or 4 stroke

    g,day all i would like some advice about a outboard i have just run in a 30 hp its 2 mths old goes great but i would like to go up to a 40 hp should i stay 2 stroke as i know them or should i get a 4 stroke is there a lot of differance i would like some more info if any one could help please

    just check the weight differences, some motors the 30 and 40 are the same basic motor, so weights hardly vary, but some others go to the next motor family and there can be a huge difference, either type will be fine, don't let a dozen people tell you about fumes and bans and all sorts of other crap, get the one that gives you the best value for your dollar, and suits your use, by the way, why are you upgrading so soon?
