Current tips for fishing Noosa River with Soft Plastics? Any advice welcome!
Hi all
Im an old Noosa fisherman from back in the 90s and because i've been living/working in Brisbane for the last four years i've rarely had the chance to wet a line here. Recently i've moved back to my home town of Noosaville which has given me the chance to re ignite my passion for fishing Noosa.
Since getting back into fishing here i have decided to make the change over to SPs as it seems to be the best way to go!
I've been reading a lot of old posts on SP fishing and this forum has given me a huge amount of tips and information to get me started so thanks to everyone that has contributed all the great info.
I read that SP may be a little trying at first as i've never really used them successfully before but I'm more than willing to nail it if it means i don't have to worry about live bait anymore.
Anyway the main reason behind this post is to ask if anyone wants to share any current tips for successful SP fishing in the Noosa river?
I'm after any information anyone is willing to share ....locations / specific SPs / times / tides etc ...anything
Most of you said that beginners should start on Gulp SPs to build up confidence so that's what I'm going to do but is there any particular ones i should look for or seem to be getting good results at the moment?
I have access to a boat and will be fishing all the usual spots like the woods / weyba hole / flying pan etc mainly chasing Trevally / Flattys and Bream.
I'm not an unexperienced fisherman i just haven't fished the Noosa river for a few years neither with SPs.
Any information would be GREATLY APPRECIATED and feel free to PM me.
Also if anyone is interested in meeting up to wet a line let me know!
Thanks for your time!
