where should i go

just looking for half decent land based fishing spots close to brisbane? any idea's would b greatly appreciated thanks.

More info required. what fish you want to target?? what style of fishing gear do you have? are you after bank fishing headland fishing or accessible by foot??
Wading is also another very productive option.

bream flathead whiting would be mine target havent really tryed for nething else yet.. have heaps of estuary gear nothing to heavy wouldnt care wether its from rocks a bank or even wading just not to familiar with some good areas close to home generally go up or dwn the coast but want to find sumwhere closer

Easy then, Clontarf flats at Redcliffe, between the boat ramp and the old Hornibrook bridge. There are a series of reefs easily waded that are home to lots of bream and flathead if you want to wade and spin a few up. 1/2 tide or lower is best.
If you cant get a feed there you had better go with a good guide and learn the ropes a bit more.
