Bubble gum because they were chewin their heads off!!!

Landed 15 or 20 all on poppers, river2sea bubblepop 65 got most fish, all released, missed hookup on a 60cm plus Trevally too!!! spewin!! great day by my standards all in a new spot too!!!!

you got to love it when the bream are hitting the surface like that ,sounds like a good day . were you fishing canals ?

snags on creek edges

nice , i can not get them to hit on the surface in the pine or schultz i have only got them feeding like that at noosa in the canals when you can sight cast for them .

Not alone there Nico.......i been trying several systems with no luck as yet.

Perhaps the snags are the key cause in the bay they seem to hit surface over reef and rubble quite freely. 65mm......they must have been aggressive as that is my bass size.

ballina, i found a faster than normal retrieve did the trick, with constant 'shaking' of the rod tip, then really long pauses if i saw them there.
