    Simple Seaway plans

I'll take an old mate out for a simple trip out the seaway on Sat morning drifting plastics. Ol' uncle al as the kids call him used to come out quite often, and has to be one of the luckiest deckies that ever set foot in my boat - always catching fish.... but that was a long time ago, he is always too busy working these days!!

See if I can't get him onto a nice snap for his dinner, anyone else going?

    Re: Simple Seaway plans

Good luck convincing him Tim, Al is an old bait fisho who has only fished plastics with me once before, but he was the deckie who caught the other Cobe on live bait the same time my fish was caught. 28kg and 37kg double hook up, so its hard to ignor the benefits of a good livie.

    See you down there!

Soft plastic to catch the bAit. Then use the bait to catch the real fish. Scalem I will be in a white boat with blue Bimini. Tabs boat.

Boys, can you stop talking about your plans to head out in the morning. I only have my Yalta Triple 5 on order and it is killing me to think of the great time your going to have. Good luck and great times out there.

I wouldn't be a fisherman if I didn't take the bait Timddo ... Why not dispense with the extra process of getting bait - if you learn to use plastics properly, you jump straight up to the top shelf "real Fish" using them.

I even went straight from work to home to hook the boat up, no need to visit a shop for any supplies/ bait because I still have have plastics left over from last trip. Do THAT with bait!! Ha Ha... Just egging you mate, its all good, see what happens tomorrow.

    TimD,

did you end up going from the grand hotel ramp? didnt see you there, met up with Jeff thou, he was on the pontoon as I arrived.

Sounds like you blokes did ok, we ended up at the 36's round 6:00 am, for nothing, back to the 24's for zip, then a few flatties on behind a reef on the 18's.

That was it for the day..

    Regards
    Honda.

Yeah mate me and timddo left from the grand hotel ramp, we didnt see any of you blokes at the ramp so we made our way out to the 24's, I am pretty sure you stopped right behind us at the 24's then you motored off too the 36's, we were having problems with timddo's vhf, at one stage it was working and i spoke to Jeffrey_h but after that it wouldnt work properly, we caught up with scalem out there but i had to contact him on the mobile due to vhf dramas.

    cheers tim
