I was thinking of going out the Seaway for Friday night then Sat early or stay out there if the weather is good and I have company.
The Seaway is only 70 Ks from Brisbane and less then an hour to get there and you're over the bar in 5 mins, camp at Wavebreak Is and out early as next morning, plus the Coast Guard are right there in the Seaway.
Weather has changed for SPB, wind picking up, thinking the goldie is a better option at this stage, just waiting for the 3:00 update to make a final call.
We will be hitting the water around 5 (if I go the goldie), Might head out wide to the 36's for a bash N/E of the seaway and work our way back in to the 24's as the day goes on and the chatter on the radio tells me I made the wrong decision .
Honda - yip. I'm waiting for the 3pm and 3am report too.
But Seaway it is for me. 4:30 start. I'll be in a white tabs ocean series with two arials. Channel 21.
Yep, I'll be leaving from the seaworld Nara side, I'll see you guys out there.... Although replying this thread might be a tad late @ 10.30pm.. Time to hit the sack!
