Just looked at the video in Scott Mitchells post and it looks good in colour. The technology n features resemble my Humminbird 1197c SI which I have had for about a year....Good stuff. I suppose every brand will eventually have side imaging soon. Gotta agree with TimiBoy's comment about NOT being "world first" Humminbird have had the technology for ages.

Yeah, but dont forget you are getting broadband digital imaging, downscan as well as side scan, you can overlay your downscan over your normal 2d sonar, have the ability to save waypoints out to the side of the boat + more.

    Cheers

I believe the 1st shipment went out from Navico on the 20th of December - most retailers have their orders - pre-sold

Got my LSS-1 on the 24th - just need the boat now

    Happy New Year - Scotto

Yep, my Humminbird will multiscreen up, give me 2D and 3D at the same time, and allow me to put a GPS mark anywhere in a 720 foot wide scan. As far as "broadband digital imaging", I'm not sure what that actually means - it may be an advance, but my picture is pretty damn good (although small...)

I just take issue with "world first" Huh. Marketeers. It's just like Gvt. spin!

Check out the Humminbird site and compare the technology and features. You will be surprised. Cheers Shane
