7/11 Flint & Steel
Hit Flint & Steel about 12pm yesterday just at the top of high tide, saw a few boats anchored off the point and cruised around inshore of them for a bit trying to figure out the new fishfinder and seeing several large blotches come and go above the bottom (which look like bait balls to me from all the examples I've seen!!). Threw a line out for a couple of hours around that area and didn't even get a single nibble on our pilchards, came back looking brand new. I tried some squid and did no better.
Came back around to Great Mackeral Beach and threw in there, same result. I can safely conclude that our boat must have scared away all the fish At least it was a nice day out on the water!!

If you are talking about Flint and Steel down sydney way.....in the mouth of the hawkesbury...then you need live yakkas, its the only bait i have found that works there consistently....have floated pillies, prawns, flesh baits..no action...but put a live yakka or slimey down and you will more than likely get fish.
