    News item, heads up.

Saturday night on channel 9 news in Brisbane, there is a story as a follow up to the issues that Gary Fooks raised on Spencer Howsons radio show earlier this week.

This is the link to the AF thread by... mowerman.

I have a very bad feeling about this.

heads up alright . ch9 in a couple of minutes.....bet they dont mention turbidity, or big ships, or big business, or shallow water, or mud churn....

all they will carp about is the little bloke, old tech and 2 stroke pollution...

there will be no one defending fishermen, it will be a one sided interview. thats how they get the public screwed.

yep. i was right. now watch some 'member' here defend the 'science'.....and i can understand that some may feel, 'yes, old 2 strokes should be gone'!!

but you must understand there is a line in the sand. the greens will give noithing back, they will keep taking ground at your expense, never, ever, give anything back.

their beliefs are vegeterianism.....and dont let them tell you different. havent you seen the latest global warming campaign to get people to stop eating meat?

    the squeeze is on....in earnest.

my advice is to give no ground at all. be an aussie digger. dig in, fight every single point, with every weapon at your disposal. give no ground, for greens take no pisoners. they will continue till there is no blood sports whatsoever. period!!!!

my advice is to fight back with a simmilar argument. ask them what they think of stradbroke ferries mud churn and turbidity in the bay. get AN OPINION FROM THEM!!!!

dont concede a point. make them admit what the real problems are. they know, but they want to attack your recreation...they are vegeterians. they hate hunting. they hate fishing. they rarely attack big business because the know big business is political. it is politics that gives them their power.

iveexplained about the barge and ferry churn in the bay. heres your chance to get ch9 to look at it and ask the greens about it.

the mud churn is a weapon. it is a bigger issue than rec fishermen in old boats. use it to attack the greens.
