Mate that is "sick" in the nicest way. I really like the colours and the whole package. Where did you get your skeleton bone fish?
Cheers

Mark,
I think it was Lincraft.
Same for the skull charms.
I sneak in there under cover sometimes

Owen....
You totally outdid yourself on that one !!..
MaryLou~~
Mark the skeleton bone fish I got from the fred hall show. These where $30 each not 10 for $5 so he may sneak around at lincraft but he sure did not pick them up there that is for sure.
They where hand made by a local to CA and I am not sure but Doc might remember who this person was. If they where cheaper I would have bought a bucket load of them to bring home as he had some beautiful pieces.
cheers

Thanks Sandy,
The bones fish look great and would look pretty good in one of the Matagi butt caps with a couple of layers of epoxy over the top. I really can't be critical of Owen for going into Lindcraft! My wife hates it when I do similar things looking for new polyester threads to try. She think I have a problem!
On a different note, I haven't had the chance to pass on my congratulations to Owen for winning one of the months on the new Fishingphotos.net Calendar for 2010. It's great to see Aussie Rodbuilders taking it to the rest of the world.
Hope you both have a great Christmas and New Year
Best Regards
Mark
you obviously have to much spare time or maybe i am just jealous................

Owen,
The rod of yours that they chose was the one with the snapper skin leather grip on it. Great work of art! Just to let you know, you are Miss October. From the photos in the calendar, I still have a bigger rod than you! LOL.
