    Good report mate You're very lucky I managed to grab the rod b4 it went over for ya lol

    Grats again for your first threadie mate! was great watching your face as he came aboard! top stuff

    Well now its my turn for a thready... This next weekend is out for me dam conferance drinks and dinner... Might have to get the old boy out there mid week if the tides suit

    im going for number 2 on friday night with jeremy and keechie . I hope keechie is as good as you at catching rods .

    well done on ur 1st nico. having just landed a couple of 1st's myself it is a good feeling after trying for so long isnt it. i am going to turn my attention to a debut threadie myself now, any advice having just been through the process yourself?

    Mate im far from the person you need to ask about threadies , 2 years for my first after i get another 30 or so i might be able to give out a few tips lol . Check out cheif's artical in bush n beach mag its got some good info in it .
    good luck getting your next one , i know i'll need it .

    mossy , have you been hitting the river latly ? should come out on friday night .

    yeah fishing the river abit lately mainly flatty's and the odd squire early on in the morn been plenty of fun on the light gear and a fair few baitsifh around the pipelines.

    Well done on the golden one too mate, what a cracker.

    did u get that in the mouth of the river or near the rock wall been out there several times at night with no luck

    nah mate near the mouth off boggy creek , they should be at both spots you tried , they might have been feeding on some thing different to what you were using .

    yeah i got out on friday night and we got a bit off rain some catfish , shovelies and a big ray on pillies and nothing on lures , i did pull my pull start cord out off the motor .
