    GARMIN GPS76CX Handheld

    Hello to you all.

Dose anyone use one of these little units at all, & can you tell me what they are like. I have GPS72 & I want upgrade, or should I look at something bigger.

    Thanks for your help.

Have been using one for about 2-3 years. Pretty flawless. You wouldn't be disappointed. The only negative is the smallish screen, but its never really been a problem for me. It's very accurate and has never let me down.

ive used a 72 & 76 for years and found them to be one of the easiest gps to use. They update quickly ( about evey 1 second . i think) and you can put maps in the 76(depths, contour lines, navaids, ect).

I would reccomend these above all other handheld gpsfor bang for buck.

Think about the Garmin 60CX. They are a little easier to use because of the key pad being at the bottom of the unit
