whats my 15 merc worth?
It has about 5 hrs on it. manufactured date is 2004.
As i am trying to sell my tinny (advertised here too) i had one phone call from a guy who just wants tinny & trailer.
Its no something i considered before but since i have a 3m poly tuff tender with only a 6HP on it i could put the 15HP merc on that.
so what is a new 15HP merc worth?
the tinny cost me $6,500 in Feb

Always been around $100 a horsepower less a bit for being 2nd hand so I will say $1,000-$1,200. Like everyone on here says, it is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it. In this economic climate, you might be dissappointed.

yeah i figured around $1500.00 mark, thanks.
I will see how i go selling the tinny at $3,500 without motor then as it would appear a lot of people out there have their own motors from previous boats etc...

Not sure what it's worth second hand but in answer to your question about new prices I've been looking for one and have been quoted between 2 and 2.5k

I think it all depends on the market at the time and what else is available. i brought an '03 30HP Yammy 12 months ago for $1200
I'd say around $1200 would probably sell it fairly quickly... $1500 should also sell but might take a little longer.

yeah i know what you mean but for now it was to work out how much to deduct from the boat to sell the tinny separately. So i figure $3,500 for the tinny without motor.
if it sells without motor i will probably use the motor on my 3m poly.
