see you guys at the ramp at 4am. Can anyone suggest a route for the day as I normally fish southern 29's near flat rock and east of Straddy at Cathedrals.

Marty, Tim, I'll catch you out there. No real plans to fish certain areas, we hope to do some whale spotting, a bit of fishing then maybe Tangas for a late lunch. Call sign - Therapy - will be on VHF 21 after logging on.

    Cheers,

Wags what time you heading out? Are you logging onto VKQ447 or Bris Coastguard? Would be good to catch up with you as I was meant to run into you at Fraser years ago.....Anyone know what time VKQ447 logs on????
I have some good marks for Square Patch, Cathedrals. I wouldnt mind a run out to Deep and Shallow Tempest either. I am pretty impressed a few of the blokes are keen. Looking forward to it see you buys there.

    Cheers

I'll be departing the club ramp at 4.30.I'm pretty sure the club radio room only operates on weekdays, all weekend radio traffic through Coastguard Brisbane. But i have been wrong before.Brisbane Coastguard 6.00am start.I just logon with Redcliffe Coastguard and ask them to relay to Brisbane when they start.Jim

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...I can sense a business venture here.
A lot of people propose user pays systems for most things these days..I might approach Cap'n Bligh and see if i can get rights to charge a toll for crossing South Passage Bar..$5 per boat and $5 per person each way...I could earn a weeks wages from one of Bill's bar crossing courses.
hehe..always on the lookout to make a buck or two.
