Best of luck in the ABT. Perhaps the roughies can get up. Love it when that happens.

TEAM MOJIKO
might see you guys and the awoonga and monduran events! might tie a rope off too trevs skeet......
re the sugar glider thing, my first ever trip to mondy way back in 03 or 04 i think...found a little one stuck in a tree a good 50m off the bank, musta glided out there but couldn't get back. covered in cobwebs looking pretty frail, plucked him out and took him back to shore
great fishing btw, but wouldn't expect anything less from you blokes!
Trev the the wildlife whisperer.
He gave me a tour of Mondy at warp speed one day, and as we came around the corner up past B turn of I think, there was a bloody great sea eagle flappin on the surface, next to another of equal size that was dead, looked like they might have had a mid air blue, and both fell to the water, with only one survivor.
Anyways, Trevs keen to save this bird, so tells me to get the net, and scoop it up to deposit back on the shore line.
Bloody thing has a wing span like a teradactyl, and all snapping beak and 3 inch talons, and it wasnt getting in that net I can tell you.
We ended up using the skeet to "guide" the big bird to the shore line, it swam a hundered meters or so on the top of the water using its giant wings to paddle along, amazing stuff!
Aaaahhhh Brian,
You should write a book about the fish you've caught, the things you've done and the sights you've seen at Monduran.
Well, at least I would read it!......
I got nuthin boys.
The scary thing bout that snapping, flapping, floating feral cat killer ?
You know how close to the water line you are in a skeet, it was a very up close and personal experience, all good for Trev hiding behind the console, not good for me the crew contemplating the thought of one very pissed off bird with lots of sharp bits seizing the handle of the landing net, hauling itself out of the water, and using me as a roosting post to dry its rather ruffled feathers lol.
