    popping for whiting

    I'm keen to try poppers for whiting and I'm just wondering what sort of retrieval speed to use and also what poppers do you recommend . Also retrieval rates for bream,and any tips will be much appreciated.

    I got my whiting at noosa on a bubble pop walking back to the boat at a meduiem speed.

    hi mate
    went out on the maroochy river and cleaned up on bream and whiting this morning . I like walk the dog stlye lures they really look like a fleeing prawn. Also mate wait for the run out tide all the best .

    Havent given it a good go as of yet.. but id recomend a 4lb leader of nylon not flurocarbon as it sinks... and yeah river 2 sea buble pops or the bushy popers.. clear and purple red tinge
