Rous Channel Western End

I was wondering if the western end of the Rous Channel is worth a look at the moment. What can I expect to catch? Rigs? Depth?
I know it isn't a very specific request.
Usually I would just drift with the current and float an unweighted pilly out the back of the boat.

Hi Mate, I have been doing a bit of trolling through the rous for the last couple of weekends. I have picked up a couple of spotty mack on some small x raps. However i have mainly been trolling the drop offs between 1 - 5 m in hope for some lizzards. Havn't been able to get any through the rous yet. iv'e also drifted some baits over the nearby banks for nothing. Still might be a little early.
Depth ranges from 1m right up to about 20m i think. could be wrong. Good luck to you
