Give a man a fish & he will eat for a day !
Teach him how to fish
& he will sit in a boat - & drink beer all day!

Good Mates....Good Food.....Good Fishing....Priceless
i take my fishing seriously...but i always drink when i'm fishing..even if its a quick paddle in the canoe with a mate i slip a cold one in
fishing and the amber fluid go hand in hand i think
we use alcohol as an incentive..starting out the days fishing we'll say that we won't crack a beer until first fish is on the deck, a particularly good capture may be rewarded with a scull/heavier bevvy..on the flip side if the fishing is slow we'll crack a cold one to drown our sorrows..so it works either way!!
recent trip to cape saw us panicking when we were led to believe we were going to a completely dry community. luckily we were allowed a certain amount, and also smuggled some contraband in to make sure the trip was everything it should have been! i've got some video footage where my mate is hooked up to a decent longtail on a hot still day, while he's slugging it out with the fish deep he takes a pit stop aka scull on a johnnie and dry to replenish his energy..gold!
OH&S issues with the kitchen hand washing the plate& there's no "telly"
Woops, what I thought was a dog licking the plate is a bloody logBack in me box.
OH and McGloo's got his pants on........![]()

Live your life in such a way that when your feet hit the floor in the morning, Satan shudders and says...
'Oh Shit.....she's awake'
And I am still standing!!! ha ha good on ya Kimmy!!!
your not in the pic NAGG!!!!???
damn that was a noice stew!!!!

TMlures, mate 95% of us enjoy a social beer while fishing and socialising...your welcome anytime....but we have been told by some sections that drinking affects our reflexes even 1 beer...ie lost fish....they are right...but I dont care...
I would still rather lose a few fish (and its still debatable with beer as the cause that..within limits of course) and have the company of the mates I have here.![]()
