how is your vent system set up? do you pipe it up the sides or?

I am thinking to put a small under floor one in my new 4.29 tinny. wasnt sure how to set up the ventilation.

obviously a hatch also that you just lift up to pull the tank out or it inspect?

I am putting in a new floor so i need to consider how to set it up properly.

    And................

Do you have a filler pipe on the side of the boat or lift the hatch to fill the tank? I have heard that climbing into the boat to fuel up can be dangerous, static electricity etc.?

Has anyone made up an underfloor rack/compartment that they can lift the tank out of for filling? (I am thinking small capacity 30-40 litres for smaller outboards)

No filler tank. I would make mine so i can just lift it out to fill up. 25-30ltrs. maybe a tad more.

just wondered where people ran their air escape pipes. i guess up towards and under the gunnels and a hole drilled out to pipe it out?

i haven't seen how they are setup from manufacture so wasn't sure how they do it. guess it depends where the tank is. in my case it will be forward of the center console.
