Need some help buying G Loomis rods!

Hey guys just wonder if you can help me.

I fish mainly for flatties, jacks & snapper on lures and SP and in fresh water bass and yellow belly.

I have been using Berkley Dropshot and Pflueger trion rods for spin set ups and baitcast. They are great but i'm looking for something different.

Gloomis Shakyhead, 6'10, 1 piece, 6lb - 10lb, Spin.
Gloomis Mag Bass GL3, 6'6, 1 piece, 12lb - 20lb, Baitcast.

Wondering if they are any good?

If you have any other G Loomis rods that you could recommend that would be great to!

All help would be great, as the advice on here always seems to be great!

The shakyhead is a good rod but if your fishing deep water with 3/8oz or bigger i would step up to the 822 shakyhead or walleye 8400. I have 3 8400,s and they cover all my flatty, bay snapper, light jack work and heavier bream fishing. The glx version is an awesome rod much lighterand crisper.

Never used the mag bass but my favourite rod in similar wieght would be the cr723 imx nice light rod and great fast action for casting and still got some good poke down low. this is my first choice rod for casting lures at jacks and even boated me some good barra out of the billabongs up north.
