Dungeness Creek / Herbert Rvr Question
Hi
Great to be back posting after a while....
Can someone in the know tell me can you get a small tinnie (4m) from Dungeness Creek into the Herbert River without having to go out into the main channel?
When travelling down Dungeness Creek you come to a fork (left and right) - from maps it looks like either could possibly be navigated into the Herbert River. Please advise if possible, if so left or right at the fork and how much water required?
Thx

yeah mate the easiest way would be to launch at mona landing from halifax, however take the left fork as the right one has a hell of a lot of trees in the mouth where it comes out in the river, and as rhyce said the left has a lot of sand so you need a big tide and will probably only get through for a hour period at the top of the tide...
