    Re: boat ramp

i can't see anyone using it as there isn't any parking for your car and trailer. don't forget that there is a boat ramp just up the creek at albion, i've never used it before, always looks empty.

    Re: boat ramp

that ramp is used by the padlers that store their boats in the park next to it.

I have looked at it, and have heard of people using it......the parking is a bit of a trick though.

apparantly there is quite a drop of at the end.........so its a bit of a problem on a low tide.

have a look at the sailing club ramp on the other side opposite whitworths too.

    cheers
Its the details, those little details, that make the difference.

    Re: boat ramp

Agree with the boys who have said the one opposite Whitworths is better, it has parking for a start.

I have a 5.3m boat and have only launched there once, it is very muddy from about halfway down, this is a really soft light mud and sicks like buggery. I would recommend a full tide launch if in a larger boat, the only other drama with this ramp is that you have nowhere to really pull your boat up when parking the car.

    Cheers,
