    Cockle banks or Nerang river???

    Morning lads,

    Yet another question, sorry.....

    Any input would be great...

Should we try cockle banks or Nerang river tonight / tomorrow.......

Would it be better to hit up around cockle banks and bribie island area, or give nerang river a go.... I reckon we will chase whiting....

Any tips hints or ideas would be excellent.... we were going to go outside but it still does not look 100%

    Cheers.

Nerang river is an awesome whiting spot, gets good write ups in bush and beach all the time.

    Hi Guys
Where in the Nerang do you suggest I am thinking of putting in at the VMR near Marine parade at the begining of Loders Creek and going out into the Broadwater or is that to far out?

pull up on any sandbar in the broadwater, pump fresh yabbies off that sandbar and cast em out into the shallows, or small surface poppers if ur that way inclined...

nah mate, you will want to head up the river into the canals and find some nice wavey sandy bottom and anchor up right out the back of them nice big old houses.
get yourself some wrigglers[blo0odworms fine] and a little burley trap tied to your anchor rope.
    enjoy.mick
