IF IT CAN'T EAT A WHOLE PILLY I DON'T WANT IT
Dave.
I have been thru the Rous battery a number of times.
When you hit the eastern beach off middle track turn south.
Past Camel rock. Keep an eye on the dune about 2/3s of the way up. Eventually you will see 1 of the artillery gun tracks sticking out of the dune.
Walk up and have a look if you feel like it.
Further south there will be a sign that says "water point". Drive up the track past the water pump. You can keep going to the upper car park. My Triton did it 1st time. Low range 2nd gear. Mates Patrol wagon took 4 goes and 12lb tyre pressure. Whatever you feel like.
Now, go for a walk. Concrete buildings and bunkers everywhere. Follow the track up and to the left and eventually you will come to the observation post. Magnificent view.
If you like you can follow the track further inland and come across more bunkers.
Google Earth. 27 15 37.65s 153 24 59.63e Elevation 700ft.
Artillery ring to the north. Carpark and start of walking track to the south.
Should be able to see both on 1 screen.

My dictionary defines green as ‘unripe, immature, undeveloped'. Perfect description.
Most political parties are seen as interested in what the voters think, the Greens are seen as thinking the community should be interested in what they think.
