Headed to Pine Dam today with my brother in law to see if I could catch my first bass. We threw some MF 40 & TT Switchblade lures in the red nightmare finish around, while we had 2 other lines set with worms. No luck with the lures but I did manage to catch 3 nice sized Eel tailed catfish. They were 44, 46 & 48 cmso better than nothing I suppose. Just out of curiosity, are fish caught in the Pine ok for the table? I have eaten Eel tails before from Somerset and they were quite tasty.
