i honestly wouldnt waste my time going to the cooch i have fished it a thousand times and never really got anything special. i have had some good days there and caught a heap of good size cod and been smoked a few times but coochy would have to be one of my least favourite spot but let me know how you go. hope you go good.
not good it was completely crap a few bream but a complete waste of time but went back out into the passage and got a 76cm flatty my personal best man i was happy

ok thanks mate here you go 76cm n it went back
If you have a look in the estuary reports under the thread name Bribie passage, they fished coochin and glasshouse creeks with some good success.
Thats another one for the Punisher!
personally i find coochin fish's best after long periods of no rain. therefore the water is very clean and clear. i tend to stick with the plastics 100mm wrigglers and head out just into the start of the passage were the maze of lil creeks is last few trips havnt miss'd getting well over 20 + flathead everytime best being around the 70cm mark all realeased so there in there somewere. lol
