Grey suits prob kept them away, oh well, next time.
Got down to the walls and had the lines in by 4:45am. Nice and early with the full moon smiling on other people (not me)
Very little bait action with only the occassional Barra boof to be heard in the distance. Not much happened in the first hour. I noticed stingrays jumping for joy and a few fins on top the water every now and again. It was not long after that until the Hammerheads appeared and smashed my mullet baits.
No fish around only sharks
Next time
cheers

Nothing makes a fish bigger than almost being caught.
I enjoy your reports, it's classic Angling most in tune with the natural ebb and flo IMO.
How big where the hammers? they eat pretty ok although I have yet to try one from tropical waters.
cheers fnq
Probably 50cm models that stink.
Not brave enough to eat them. I would probably eat the bait before I ate a hammerhead.
They go hard and are good fun to catch.
