    Larger Flybridge Kevlacats?

Any feedback on the larger flybridge Kevlacats with twin shaft drive diesels? Something like a KC 3100 with enclosed wheelhouse and flybridge powered by 2 x 315hp Yanmars driving shafts.

I have a mate with a KC2400 powered by 2 x 140hp Zukes and I am also a little familiar with the KC3000 powered by 2 x 250hp Zukes, but what about the next size up?

There is one here in the US I am thinking of going to have a look at, but don't know a lot about these bigger cats and I can't ask here as they absolutely hate Kevlacats, given the bad US experience with the builder over here.

All I can offer is that you seem to be aware of the need to purchase an Australian built KC, as oppossed to the apparently shoddy US ones.
    Good luck.

It is a far, far better thing to have fished and lost, than never to have fished at all.

Yes I have read the review and it was very interesting. The review boat had 2 x 230hp 4 cylinder Yanmars and the boat I am interested in has 2 x 315hp 6 cylinder Yanmars so wondering what the difference would be.

Anyway seems like there isn't much feedback here.

    Anybody else?
