    Wilson LCS Graphite Rods

Does anyone have any experience with theses rods?

If so what have you used and how do they rate.

I picked up one on special for around $65.00. Its great value and has already landed some nice fish . I would prefer at least Alconite guides and ones slightly larger in diameter when using 15kg leader .
Mine is the 6-20lb Pelagic Spin. It has the nice stiff action I like in my plastics rods and does the job of heavy plastics and slug chucking pretty well. Here are a few shots of me pulling a 50lb Cod on it

Thanks Horse. I appreciate your response and the great photos of the rod in action (what a top fish that cod is). The Pelagic Spin is actually the rod that I was interested in. BCF currently have them on sale for $80 and although the guides are not Alconite, for the money the rod should be up to the job.

I intend putting a 4000 Daiwa Exceler with 20 lb braid on it to chase Salmon/Barra/Queenies or whatever else comes along out of Townsville next month.

    Good luck on the water,

    Jackson

Yea Lee, they certainly punch above their price. I'm using a Cabelas Prodigy 4000 that is a Diawa made reel branded by Cabelas but looks identical to the Tierra at less than half the price. Only time will tell if its the goods but it matches well with the Wilson.
