Galahs in tackle shops who clearly don't know what they are on about trying to tell you 'what you should do'.

Obviously any good drum from the likes of foxie is appreciated but some of these
Bloody Clowns Fishing who aren't smart enough to say I don't know mate but just speak some waffle TIHS to try to impress they do tihs < me.

What pisses me off is when you take a good mate or two out for a serious fish and you show them precisely three times how to tie that leader connection knot or loop knot only to have them still asking for the knot to be tied for them every time they bust off. I mean seriously folks, I go fishing and take guys along to share the experience with, I do not go knot tying with the hope that i might get 10 minutes for a fish. NEWBIES TAKE CAREFUL NOTICE OF WHAT YOU ARE BEING TAUGHT.

Those bloody albrights ...... great in <60lb leader , but in 80lb - Hit & miss . If you cant pull the knot up tight ....... there is a chance of it letting go ( & I've seen some seriously good fishoes cast off leaders )

I dont do this , but I was shown this tip

Take 2 pieces of dowel with you ........ when you pull up the knot ( wrap the leader around one 10 times & braid around the other piece 15 times - Dont cross the wraps over) Lubricate ... Pull against each other slowly to pull the knot tight.

A drop of superglue helps too .

I don't know about cheeses me off, but I have bought a stern light to put on me tinny because those lunatics in the fast boats that come back at night at hundred miles an hour (because they can ) do concern me.

If they clobber a tree and smash the boat or prop fair enough but when I think I am doin good in me tinny at 30K with the flood light on the front then Woosh! no warning and Les or Ren or Trev etc. fly past at warp speed I can't help thinking Holy Crap! I hope those mad bassards see me in me tinny.

At least Steve has head lights. No doubt they know the track well enough but I don't fancy being a ski jump .

And mongrels who don't merge in traffic, they park there waiting until there is not another vehicle in sight, they do Shirt me!

Crap! I just thought all I have to do is leave the anchor light on

Re the anchor light. Try a white sports sock over the top....works a treat.

Kevlar gloves go really well Chris. Wellsy's in Kawana stock them...so would Jones'.

GPS? that's not a cake tin on the roll cage! oh, it is equipped with flash lights.
There's plenty of room to walk around the deck, run even.
It's not ideal for trolling though .

You know it is hard to get one boat that is good for everything.
