Ian,

What's your theory on the marlin lighting up. I am sure that I read somewhere or heard on one of these doco type films that the marlin light up to warn other marlin when they going in to attack the bait ball, so as to prevent the marlin spearing each other when charging in at the same time. Sounds about right - what do you think?
