    Unhappy Heavy Duty Bull Bar Rod holder Wanted

    Does anybody out there know :-

    1] Is there a manufacturer of Heavy Duty [eg powdercoated steel] Rod Holders
    Tired of only being able to find very thin Alloy types Eg. Wilson brand.

    Or

    2] Is there someone who has a set for sale? [tried to buy my neighbours which have 3mm thick walls - but he won't sell]

    I have a powdercoated steel one - it was definitely a Wilson, bought about 6 years ago. They don't make them anymore?

    Mine is starting to rust a little and has gradually bent up over the years.
    I'm thinking of getting a new one so will watch this thread.

    They are made from aluminium for a reason. I have a stainless steel set... I never use them but they arent for sale. Pretty easy to make and get powder coated.

    ask shano, hes an ausfisher, he could prob make you a custom ally one out of thicker ally. He does some nice work...

    TJM make an HD powder coated ones in black or silver although they will tell you that they are illegal to fit in SA anyway.
