need help to identify fish

Attachment 51689Can anyone identify this fish???????? i caught it out wide of double island point in 140m of water i thought it was some sort of bar cod, im completly stumped.
i work on a charter boat and have never seen before any help would be much appreciated.

p.s tasted alright(bit stringy) but dead set tasted like a moretan bay bug.

Got it in one Ooglie74, its a comet cod.

Not a great eating fish IMO, but you can eat them. from memory legal size is about 35cm.
