Can anyone provide an update on how the weed is at Fraser

West side O.K. last week till the NW kicked on Friday - weedy again now.

no weed on the surf side. plenty of tailor tho

Hope theres no weed on the western side at the end of october, got a 7 day trip planned.

Best news I have had all day! lets hope it lasts. Heading up next Friday for a week to fish the headlands after the closure. Anymore info on the fishing?? Any Trevs like the one you are holding in the photo??

Was up for a week, got back last Friday. Fished gutters north from Cathedral Beach to just south of the closure. Got plenty of tailor, though there are are lot of undersize and just legal about. Kept a couple of just legals of the first day then started picking up a few quality fish on slugs. Good whiting around at low tide and heaps of worms if you can catch em.

So, plenty of tailor (no monsters for me anyway), good dart stealing pillies, got a nice 65cm flathead on a pillie. No trevs for me this year (got the one in the pic last Sep just south of Indian Head)

I'm going to try and get up there again this season if I can swing another couple of days off work. I just love Fraser this time of year.

Good to hear there is no weed up there at the moment.
We are off to Fraser on Friday morning, hoping to make the first barge, and back on Saturday week.
Camping about 7 kms south of Indian Head.

Saw some come in around the Maheno on the drive home to the barge. Also saw some really good looking gutters near Eurong.... Almost stopped for just a few more casts.....
