Hi All after spending a week at mondy i dragged myself out of bed at 4.30 mam this morning armed with 2 rods and 4 dillies i set off to donnybrook for a fish and a crab put the dillies in and had a fish close by but only little stuff so checked the dillies got 1 crab and the only crab for the trip so went fishing up on the banks in 4 inches of water where i landed 5 nice whiting to 33cm and 3 bream back at the ramp by 10am quite day but i got a feed

I just got home from Donnybrook, with a grand total of zilch. Had a big fat jenny tangled up in one of my dillies too, which I removed very bloody carefully. Never had to untangle a muddie from a dilly before, and can't say that I enjoyed the experience.
Still, it was a beautiful afternoon on the water, so I am not too worried about no fish!

Nice going Shane. Took my Dad out on Friday and fished Ningi, Toorbul and Donnybrook - scored several bream but only 4 of them made it onto the ice box as my min size for boat is 30cm.How was the trip up Mondy ya lucky bugger! Cheers mate, Darren
Hi Lunatic those muddies are apain to get out of dillies i normally cut them out and renet the dillie.
Ben i just happen to through on a green popper for a try but i did not have my flicking rod so only had a couple of casts
