oil cooler in the W@nker wagon

OK I've got the tyre pressure down pat now thanks all so I thought I'd better have a gander under the bonnet.
So I had a squizz under the bonnet of the Pajero (cook's not fond of the w@nker wagon name so any suggestions??) and found an oil cooler for the engine oil.
    Is this normal??
    Cheers then
    Scott
PS I reckon a large remote filter is going to go in the line to the cooler pretty damn quick.
I have one already on the shelf in amongst the spare parts for the VW.
I intend on living for-ever....so far so good

I fitted an oil cooler when the turbo was added, so its normal for me if you want cooler oil!

Is the watch still running? The 30 day waranty must be due to run out soon!!!

I had people suggest to me that the first thing I should get fitted was a transmission cooler. So when i put it in for its last service/transmission service I asked about the cooler, and my service guy had a poke around and told me it already had a transmission cooler and an engine oil cooler.....dont know whether they were standard or add ons....but they looked like they had been there for a while.
