Tm260
Just for info, I have finally installed the TM260 and given it a run. Excellent picture in comparison to the P66 that it replaces and I hope to find some deeper water this weekend to give a good workout. I am not too sure yet about this pig tail connection that is about 1.5 to 2m from the TX. On my installation it puts the connection right under the floor at the back of the deck in a potential wet area....time will tell I guess.
I am really interested to see how it compares on the Raymarine compared to the picture and performance of the Furuno 585 with the TM258 (which was great)
Couple of pics

Re: Tm260
Just tried about 5 times to upload some and it isn't working. Says to contact the administrators (which I have tried to do in the past, but they must be ghosts cos I have never heard back from them) so I will try again tomorrow and see if things work. Should have some screen pics after the weekend anyway so might be able to upload them as well, maybe

Re: Tm260
Gave a 260 a run with a lowrance lcx 112 this weekend, fished 500m for bass /blue eye etc. way better than previous 500w but miles behind the furuno 585 and m258. Struggled to clearly identify fish in this depth ,great up to 350m

Re: Tm260
Thanks for that. I went out on the weekend and gave it a good run. Really happy with the picture on the Raymarine but don't think it is better than the 585/TM258 combo. Have had to lower it a couple of mm and will try again on a long trip this weekend.
Still pretty happy with the picture that it is showing up to about 40m with the 200hz (won't go deeper till the weekend)
Will try and get some screen shots of it in action.
