    Jack & Cod

Went for a flick around last week for some jacks and managed my second for the season not a big one at 35 but what I was after, also ran into some cod and had another pulled hook on a hard hitting jack I think. Found some patches of water to 24 degrees so it’s looking promising. I dropped my leader size to 20lb and I reckon I be going lower after the clarity of the water this week all fish come in on the hallow belly 5inch.

Nicely done Sam, do you find the Hollowbellies the best plastics to use down there for Jacks and the likes?

blooey i just rig it inside with a 1/4 ounch tt's jig head with the 4/0 hook looks more realistic you just have to cut them and insert jig head. the water is prety clear so it a cofidence thing too.

tailor boy yeah mate only just started useing them and nailed a couple more today i think th jacks love em.
