Boiling water.
Donut broken with a 93 on friday....first cast on one of the Infamous A basin weed points.
just a little fella but in 3ft of water I thought i'd hooked a tuna. spin gear combo of Certate 3500HD/ Egrell S10 and 1/4oz jighead rigged ecogear powershad brought him undone.
The opposite of a "Tequila sunrise".
This fella went well in the shallows of B bay, mostly slogged out in 8ft of water, i had the Zillion/8-15kg Medalist combo working hard so he couldn't get too far away to the trees, lure was a fluro green R2Sea triho 120S tricked with #2 st66 front and rear, no middle treble but some sticky weight to help him slowly rise on the pause.
Puncture wound to Kimmy's ute.
Stevo the devo and butterfingers giving Sth B a workover....
Steve hooked one....unfortunately it was a touch lifeless and woody!

I'm on fire Sunday morning. the A basin weed point for another first cast fish....followed by another half a dozen casts later...
The whole place was on fire!!

Anyone looking for a good holiday fishin with a bunch of mad fishos and a crackin good time the muster is just that light hearted fun with a bit of serious casting thrown in just for good measure
